1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of electriccaradvisors.com and any digital products, courses, memberships, and advisory services provided by Electric Car Advisors (“we,” “us”). By accessing the site, subscribing, purchasing a product, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.

2. Services We Provide

2.1 Free Content

Articles, newsletter, research summaries, and tools provided at no charge.

2.2 Digital Products

One-time purchases including the Home Charging Setup Guide ($17), EV Ownership Masterclass ($67), and similar downloadable or self-paced products.

2.3 Membership

EV Insider Membership ($9/month) provides recurring access to member content, the private forum, and tools as described on the product page.

2.4 Advisory Services

Fee-only one-on-one EV buying advisory: Discovery ($499), Standard ($2,500), Premium ($8,000–$25,000), and Custom engagements. Scope, deliverables, and timeline are defined in the engagement letter you sign before work begins.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Advisory services are available to U.S. residents only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

5. Payments & Fees

• All fees are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number
• Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until canceled
• You may cancel a subscription anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Advisory engagements may require a deposit; remaining fees are billed per the engagement letter
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute, or share access to paid content or memberships
• Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any portion of the site or products
• Use the services for unlawful purposes or to harass others
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the site
• Misrepresent yourself or your eligibility for any service

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the site — articles, course materials, frameworks, templates, graphics, the “Electric Car Advisors” name and logo — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use purchased products for your personal, non-commercial use only.

9. User Content

If you post comments, replies, or submissions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and adapt that content in connection with operating and promoting the services. You represent that you have the right to grant this license.

10. Disclaimers

Educational and advisory — not financial, tax, or legal advice. Our content and advisory services provide guidance on EV selection, sourcing, and ownership. We are not financial advisors, tax professionals, attorneys, mechanics, or insurance agents. Decisions about vehicle purchases, financing, leasing, and insurance are yours alone.

No guarantees. We do not guarantee specific savings, vehicle pricing, financing rates, range, charging performance, tax credits, or future EV market conditions. Manufacturer specs and incentives change frequently and are outside our control.

The services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Electric Car Advisors and its principals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, or lost data arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Electric Car Advisors from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. The prevailing party is entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent site notice.
