Strategy, sourcing, and ongoing advice for buyers and fleets that are done guessing with electric vehicles.
Electric Car Advisors is a Dallas-based, fee-only advisory practice. No dealer commissions. No manufacturer kickbacks. Just clear, independent guidance from first call to delivery and beyond.
Strategy. Sourcing. Ongoing advisory.
Three connected practices that move you from EV-curious to plugged in — without dealer pressure or manufacturer marketing in your way.
EV Buying Strategy
Independent vehicle shortlists matched to your real driving — verified with telematics or fuel logs, not spec sheets.
- Vehicle shortlist & test-drive plan
- Federal, state & utility incentive stacking
- 5-year total cost of ownership model
- Buy vs. lease vs. used analysis
Sourcing & Negotiation
We handle the dealer. Negotiation scripts, used EV inspection, and effective-price worksheets get you the right car at the right number.
- Dealer-side negotiation script
- Used EV battery health diagnostics
- Fleet sourcing & RFQ management
- Out-of-warranty risk modeling
Ongoing EV Advisory
Buying the car is half the decision. We stay on through charging install, the first 90 days, and resale planning.
- Home & depot charging design
- Software update & feature monitoring
- Insurance & resale-value tracking
- Fleet quarterly reviews & expansion

Things people ask before reaching out.
Are you actually independent? Who pays you?
Our clients pay us — full stop. We take zero commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees from automakers, dealers, charging companies, or anyone else. That's why we can tell you when an EV is the wrong call (about 1 in 8 of our consults end that way).
Do I need to be in Dallas to work with you?
No. We're headquartered in Dallas–Fort Worth and most of our personal-vehicle work is local, but advisory and fleet engagements are nationwide. Charging infrastructure work is regional — we partner with vetted installers in your zip code.
What if I'm not sure I even want an EV?
Start with the free Decision Matrix or a Tier 1 Decision Brief. About 1 in 8 of our advisory engagements end with us recommending against the EV — wrong driving pattern, wrong charging access, or wrong financial profile. Better to find out before the deposit.
How long does an engagement take?
Tier 1 Decision Brief: 5 business days. Tier 2 Buying Concierge: typically 2–6 weeks depending on inventory. Tier 3 Fleet Plans: 6–12 weeks. The free 20-minute consult is exactly what it sounds like — a 20-minute call.
What if I just want a sanity check on a deal I already have?
Apply for a strategy session. The 20-minute call is free, and we'll give you a straight read on the deal — even if you don't hire us. We do this often.
Let's map your next EV decision.
One 20-minute call. You leave with a real answer whether you hire us or not. That's the deal.
