Refund Policy

1. Our Promise
If a product or service didn’t deliver what we promised, we want to make it right. We honor reasonable refund requests within the windows below. We also expect clients to engage in good faith — our advisory model only works when both sides show up.

2. Digital Products
The Home Charging Setup Guide ($17), EV Ownership Masterclass ($67), and similar one-time digital purchases come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If the product doesn’t meet your expectations, email us within 7 days of purchase and we’ll issue a full refund — no interrogation. Access is revoked after the refund is processed.
3. EV Insider Membership ($9/month)
- First month: 30-day full refund if you’re not satisfied
- After month 1: Cancel anytime in your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused days within a billed month.
- Annual plans (if offered): prorated refund minus the value of months consumed at the monthly rate
4. Discovery Call ($499)
Refundable in full if requested before your scheduled call. Once the call is held and the written summary is delivered, the engagement is complete and non-refundable. If you no-show or cancel within 24 hours, the fee is forfeited (we hold the slot for you).
5. Standard Advisory ($2,500)
This engagement covers vehicle shortlisting, financing/lease analysis, and dealer negotiation guidance over roughly 3–6 weeks.
- Within 72 hours of payment and before kickoff: full refund
- After kickoff, before vehicle shortlist delivered: 50% refund
- After shortlist delivered: non-refundable
6. Premium Advisory ($8,000–$25,000)
End-to-end concierge sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition. Governed by the signed engagement letter, which sets milestone-based refund terms. Typical structure:
- Deposit (50%): non-refundable on signing (covers research, sourcing, and reserved capacity)
- Final payment: due on vehicle acquisition; refundable up to the point of deal close if we cannot source a qualifying vehicle
7. Custom Engagements
Fleet, multi-vehicle, and consulting engagements have refund terms specified in their individual statement of work (SOW). The SOW controls in case of conflict with this page.
8. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@electriccaradvisors.com from the address used to purchase. Include:
- Order or invoice number (from your Stripe receipt)
- Product or service name
- Reason for the request (optional but helpful)
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within 5 business days. Your bank may take an additional 3–10 business days to post the credit.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please email us first — we resolve nearly every issue without escalation. Filing a chargeback with your bank before contacting us may forfeit eligibility for future engagements and triggers loss of access to digital products and membership.
11. Exceptions
Refunds are not available for:
- Bundle promotions explicitly marked as final-sale
- Heavily discounted holiday or beta offers (when noted at purchase)
- Engagements where the client has violated the Terms of Service
- Requests made outside the applicable refund window above
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer-protection rights under applicable law.
